WASHINGTON, May 22 (RIA Novosti) –A group of US lawmakers is set to travel to Russia to investigate the Boston Marathon bombings, and try to boost cooperation between the former Cold War rivals, the office of Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, who is leading the delegation, said Wednesday.

DAGESTAN – A security camera at the Baliff’s building in Makhachkala where the twin terror attacks yesterday afternoon took place (see earlier RETWA reporting) captured both explosions.  The first explosion is seen in a distance, but the second explosion is seen up close.  A policeman can be seen running out of the black smoke from the blast.  The video is found at http://lifenews.ru/news/114075



21-May-2013 Umarov’s Deputy Mutaliyev and “Accomplice” Ozdoyev Killed

INGUSHETIA – Two NVF members, including Doka Umarov’s “right hand” man, have reportedly been killed in a Nazran spetz-operation.  The deceased are identified as Ingushetian residents Dzhamaleil Mutaliyev and Alikhan Ozdoyev. The latter, according to MVD information, was an active NVF “accomplice.” President Yunus-bek Yevkurov announced today that Mutaliyev was Umarov’s “right hand.” The NAK (National Anti-terror Committee) has confirmed that Mutaliyev was one of the “primary leaders of the band underground” and a “deputy to its head Doka Umarov.”

ASTANA, May 15 (RIA Novosti) – Leaflets expressing support for the Boston Marathon bombing suspects have appeared in the Central Asian republic of Kazakhstan, which neighbors Kyrgyzstan, where the Tsarnaev brothers lived with their family before moving to the United States, regional media said on Wednesday.
